After checking the bloody website from 6am, they finally put the offer up at 9am. We got our first choice. So did my neighbour so Oscar will be going to school with all his friends. I'm certain his other 2 mates will get it too as they live closer to the school than we do.
And it means Toby will be going there too. SO relieved. I've had indigestion all morning. Now going to make a nice cup of tea!
FInd out tomorrow what school Oz has got into. The nearest one is horrible - I didn't even put it on the form. The next nearest one is perfect and I really really want him (and therefore Toby) to get in there. All his preschool mates have it down as first choice. And it's only 10 minutes walk away. The second choice I put is a drive or a half hour walk.
No idea what my chances are. I'm wishing today away......and have butterflies in my tum every time I think about it.
ARGH! Cross your fingers....
She isn't ignoring us all! She's been ordered to rest a lot - had a post-partum haemorrage - she's at home now but has to stay in bed. Also CF managed to bust her computer while she was in hospital! So a combination of both. But she wanted you all to know that she'll be back as soon as possible. Mother and son doing fine. Roxie is enchanted by him - she even offered her little bruv her dummy when he cried - true love!!!
So all is well and she'll be back really soon with pics, details and the all important name!
Had a phone call from Mum herself - she had a sweep yesterday and was already a little dilated and had some contractions when I spoke to her last night....they went in this morning at around 10am as she was contracting a lot and frequent (she'll tell you full details I'm sure)
He arrived at quarter past 2 today - Roxie was amazing and stayed throughout (which was lucky as Mox was terrified she'd be left alone as CF would have to care for her as no one was there). Her little boy was around 8lbs 9 - she wasn't 100% sure. She did it all on gas and air - SUPERSTAR! So she was tired but happy - bleeding a bit so they're keeping an eye on her but her son is fine. Midwives were lovely but she didn't get to go in the pool.
He has the most beautiful name, just like his sister but I'll let her tell you. She thanks you all for the good vibes and I'm sure will be back online asap. If I hear more I'll let you know.
Hoorah - welcome to the world baby boy!!!! And serious well done to Moxie!
Pinched from the gorgeous Moxie
